Greek Easter in Corfu April 18th to April 25th 2014

Everybody knows that Easter is an important holiday for the Greeks. Celebrating Easter in Greece is a unique experience but particularly so in Corfu…

Easter in Corfu is a huge festival in which various components are harmoniously combined; the Orthodox Christian faith, the Roman Catholic community, the powerful presence of Saint Spiridon, the Venetian influence, the pagan traditions, the music of the philharmonic bands, the genuine Corfiot humour and of course the arrival of spring and blossoming nature. The Corfiot Easter has a mixture of East and West and of ecclesiastical, civic and military pomp which gives it a strongly individual flavor.

Corfu is the place where… The mind travels to the open sea, searching for old traces, history, arts, music, culture, nature that blossoms throughout the year, greenery, beautiful secluded beaches, untouched villages and warm, smiling and welcoming locals!

Welcome to Corfu and to our Corfiot Easter Cooking Adventure!!!

A special treat that can only take place once a year where you will experience and enjoy the magic of Greek Easter combined with real Greek Life and Greek Dishes as it is cooked at the homes of the Greeks.
